VartaLang was born in 2024 from a simple frustration: despite India having 22 scheduled languages and hundreds of dialects, quality language learning resources were fragmented, expensive, or simply unavailable for most learners.
Our founders — passionate linguists, educators, and technologists — set out to build a platform that combines the structure of formal education with the flexibility of modern technology. The result is VartaLang: a platform where a student in Chennai can learn Hindi for a government exam, a professional in Delhi can master Tamil for a new assignment, and a diaspora family abroad can reconnect with their mother tongue.
Today, VartaLang serves learners across 6 languages with plans to expand to all 22 official Indian languages, along with specialized exam preparation programs for IELTS, teacher certifications, and government competitive examinations.
